Watch 'Double Rainbow Autotune' Play
You might have sent the video of the guy freaking out about seeing a double rainbow. It's currently doing the rounds on the internet. Which means someone has to come along, slap on an autotune and put it to music - which is surprisingly awesome...
According to this article/graph for every $1,000 worth of music sold the average musician makes $23.30. For even more fun they reckon that only 2.1 percent of albums released last year sold more than 5,000 copies. 5,000 albums at $25 would get the average musician $2,912.50 - 3 weeks work on the average New Zealand wage. Holy crap.
Watch 'Broken Bells - The Ghost Inside' Play
I've had this album on high repeat over the past week. The video should excite you sci-fi geeks out there. It stars Christina Hendricks (from Madman) as she pilots her spaceship towards stardom, or not.
Google Trends is a great way to keep up with most important news on the internet. So the fact that "justin bieber syphilis" ranked number 1 on the 13th of June 2010 raised a few eyebrows.

Which means one of two things:
1.) Justin Bieber has syphilis, and that he was photographed with Kim Kardashian seems to have gotten people somewhat excited.
2.) Those chaps at 4chan.org are playing pranks
Watch 'Bloodbuzz Ohio' Play
I love The National, once discovering them with their album "Alligator" I went on a buying spree of every single album and EP they'd ever released. I topped this off with spending around $400 flying to Auckland to see them play live in their only New Zealand concert.

Which is why their latest release made me sad. I love the band, I want to buy the album but do you think I can buy it online? No
Watch 'Shpongle back with a new album' Play
The new album from Shpongle delves further into the acoustic/electronic melding of psy-trance that Shpongle have been pushing for the last 10 years or so. And it's nice.
Watch 'Buffalo by The Phoenix Foundation' Play
We've got "Buffalo" pumping in the lounge right now. I really enjoy the track but the whole album hasn't grabbed me yet.

Normally with The Phoenix Foundation I can find a few tracks in each album which stick with me so I'm hoping with a bit more listening some others will stand out.
Watch '"Hope and Sorrow" album by Wax Tailor' Play
OK I admit I'm about 3 years too late but I've only recently discovered "Hope and Sorrow" by Wax Tailor and am really enjoying it.

Wax Tailor is a French trip-hop/ electronica outfit and this albums definitely left me with a taste for more trippy-hoppy goodness from them.
